Located in Cody, Wyoming, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center is receiving a major facelift. Phase I is a $25 million addition, with Phase II renovations to follow on the existing multipurpose museum. The facility has remained in service the full time of construction. Adding a total of 305,000 square feet, architect Fentress Bradburn included a circular ramp display area, a presentation theater, classrooms, public spaces, and administrative facilities. RWC specified structural steel for the basement and the two new building wings. Interior structural modifications were designed for the existing center. Jacobsen Construction is the contractor for this project. |
