STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Magazine

“He (Rich) was the absolute personification of what we are trying to promote in the pages of this publication. Rich was also well-traveled, well-read, and well-schooled in all manner of subjects – not just engineering. He was even an accomplished painter! He also had a great sense of humor, as anyone who knew him or read his columns could tell. Rich was also very passionate about our mission here to celebrate the unsung heroes of the design and construction industry.”

– Mark C. Zweig, Zweig Group

“Before we go to print every month, I take a final look at all of the articles to be published. Usually the first article I would read was Rich’s column, since it was always interesting to see what he would be writing about next. Rich and his wife, Evelyn, were world travelers, and Rich added a unique perspective in many of his articles based upon the places they had visited and people they had met in their travels.”
